MyLogix is a consultancy service offering logistics and supply chain solutions.  We analyse data and develop strategic solutions to maximize value gained from existing costs, thereby creating efficiency in the business.

Our supply chain consulting process works as follows:

  1. We meet with business leaders to identify key problems

  2. We identify areas of the business which are underperforming and creating financial shortfalls.

  3. We then develop systems and solutions to minimize those gaps

  4. We identify and develop outsourcing or insourcing opportunities, building on those

  5. We support leaders to decide whether specific roles should be outsourced or upskilled

Areas of expertise include:  supply chain management, warehouse and inventory management, demand, and supply forecasting.

FLEET MANAGEMENT

MyLogix does extensive data and gap analysis to assess the efficiency of fleet management, then designs strategies to reduce costs and increase profits. Our experts help implement best practices for transport management.  MyLogix also consults with clients to decide which skills to outsource vs. insource.

Fleet management services include:

Fleet Cost Management

Fleet cost management starts with an in-depth cost analysis of the fleet.  We compare those costs with industry averages to identify opportunities to save. Armed with this data, we implement best practises and processes to reduce excess costs and manage variables.

Furthermore, MyLogix equips management teams with dashboards and progress reporting processes, so that these leaders may independently monitor new systems.

Typical systems we implement as part of fleet management are as follows:

  • Fuel Management (Dispensing and Consumption)

  • Maintenance Management

  • Driver Management

  • Transport Management

  • Route Profitability

Fleet Configuration Analysis

The fleet configuration analysis determines the optimum fleet mix and vehicle type for the customer’s distribution needs.

Fleet Replacement Analysis

Fleet replacement analysis is key to a successful logistics strategy.  We analyse the fleets to achieve long-term business goals. The fleet will be analysed, based on year model, kilometres, costs and etc to formalise a replacement policy.

ROUTE & VEHICLE OPTIMISATION

We focus on vehicle optimisation and route planning.  This analysis is based on the customer’s sales history and SLA - Service Level Agreement - with their customers. We also consider route profitability and supply chain flow.

Mylogix develops solutions and tools to enable customers to manage their logistics in an optimal and efficient way.  This saves the business money and time, as well as enhancing customer satisfaction.

Route Profitability

Route Profitability is a process we follow to determine geographical profitability by region or route.  This process entails understanding the reasons for geographical profit loss and implementing a target-based strategy to minimize those losses.

Route profit analysis is usually combined with a regional sales analysis.  In this process, we design a strategy to ensure the correct basket vs. quantity of product is sold to generate profitability in that region.

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

We evaluate business management processes and systems to improve overall productivity (efficiency and effectiveness of operational business functions).

This could include any of the following areas of the business:

  • Procurement

  • Marketing and Sales

  • Change Management

  • Production

The main objective of change management is to optimize staff productivity through upskilling activities.  This may include, but is not limited to:  mentorships, skills training, or systems training.  By upskilling staff in this way, we help them adapt to revised systems so the business can make the most of those systems.
